Greg Colehgan has taken 1,015 Bradford League wickets in a long and distinguished career


Two of the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League's most successful bowlers are to be rewarded for their long service.

Seamers Greg Colehan and Nigel Hanson have been awarded benefits in 2016 by Championship side Bankfoot. in recognition to their great contribution to the club,

Colehan, one of only 13 bowlers to take more than 1,000 first team wickets, has spearheaded the Bankfoot attack since joining them after spells with Windhill, Bradford & Bingley and Idle.

Hanson, who has shared the new ball with Colehan on many occasions, has 869 wickets to his name at an average of 18.05 apiece.

Bankfoot official Richard Peel said: "The benefit is our way of saying thank you for the great service Greg and Nigel have given to our club.

"We hope to organise a number of events during the year. We haven't finalised the details yet but we have some ideas which we explore."
