Undercliffe left hander Ben Heritage requires 114 runs to reach 1,000 runs and has three games to do it


Gomersal's Richard Gould and Pudsey St Lawrence skipper Mark Robertshaw have already reached 1,000 runs now four more players are within striking distance of the landmark in first team cricket and three more in the second team competition.

Tim Jackson, the opening batsman who has played such a big part in Cleckheaton's push for a first league title, has two inningings in which to score the 87 runs which will take him to his 1,000.

Lighcliffe's second team captain Michael Brooke needs 94, Reece Thompson (New Farnley) 100 and Chris Dobson (Cleckheaton) 173 are all nearing the 1,000 run mark.
