Undercliffe left hander Ben Heritage requires 114 runs to reach 1,000 runs and has three games to do it

 

Gomersal's Richard Gould and Pudsey St Lawrence skipper Mark Robertshaw have already reached 1,000 runs now four more players are within striking distance of the landmark 9n first team cricket and three more in the second team competition.

Tim Jackson, the opening batsman who has played such a big part in Cleckheaton's push for a first league title, has two inningings in which to score the 87 runs which will take him to his 1,000.

Undercliffe captain Ben Heritage (886), Pudsey St Lawrence's Adam Waite (881), Bowling Old Lane's Ahsan Butt (852) and Hanging Heaton's Gary Fellows

Ben Heritage needs 114, Tim Jackson needs 87, Adam Waite needs 119, Ahsan Butt 148 and Gary Fellows 153 for 1,000 league runs.

Lighcliffe's second team captain Michael Brooke needs 94, Reece Thompson (New Farnley) 100 and Chris Dobson (Cleckheaton) 173 are all nearing the 1,000 run mark.

Three players are in range of career milestones. Hanging Heaton's John Carruthers needs ten wickets for 1,000. 1st Woodlands all-rounder Grant Soames requires 16 runs to reach 5,000 while Spen Victoria's Matt Garside needs 90
